I painted this flower for you
It took all my strength to do

I held the brush with trembling fingers
But knew I would be close until it lingers

All around was grey and colourless
But thats it like when it ends, I guess

I don't want to forget
You were the best person I ever met.

This is for Harald. He was my life partner for 5 years and we just broke up a bit ago. I guess there is no one coming like he was. The patience and strength he gave me for a long time was unconditional.
But life goes on and nothing lasts forever.

Mind you, I never in my life knew how "forget me not" flowers look like until my sister in law hit my face into them. They are exactly what they are ... tiny and unimposing - but still exactly that what we wish to stay in someones heart. A tiny beautiful memory.
